Janesville Police Department Receives Early Holiday Donation

Maurer’s Market Gives Back Because It Feels Right

 

Janesville, WI –The Janesville Police department received an early holiday gift in the form of a $2,500 check from Maurer’s Market owner, Jeff Maurer.  The donation was accepted by Chief David Moore at their most recent city council meeting. 

When asked ‘why’ the donation to the police department, Jeff explained, “At a previous meeting, I asked the council how could we help our community?  While there were several good suggestions, the one that just felt right to me was the request by the Police Chief to help furnish their squad cars with some necessary equipment that would assist in keeping the community and officers safe.”

Maurer’s Market to offer Columbus residents full grocery line,

with farm-fresh produce, chef-prepared meal solutions

 

COLUMBUS. WI –Madison-based Maurer’s Foods announced today the purchase of the Columbus Hometown Market at 150 Commerce Drive, Columbus, WI. The supermarket will officially reopen under the Maurer’s Market IGA banner beginning December 1st as a full-service supermarket. Customers will begin to see the new branding appear on advertising shortly after.

Maurer’s Market CONVERTING TO Maurer’s Market IGA

IGA today announced Maurer’s Market, located at 216 Washington Avenue, is becoming Maurer’s Market IGA. According to Owner’s Jeff and Kristie Maurer, the store will remain open without interruption during the conversion, which is currently in process and will be completed over the next few months.
